Bob and his buddy Mike Handley were roommates of my husband and me in Richardson, Texas in 1982/83. We had the absolute best of times! We have been seeing every time we get to NEPa and saw him last summer. We tried to contact him 6/21/2024 and found he had passed. What an enormous loss to his family and friends.

I just saw now that Bob passed away. I haven’t known him for decades, but he left such a huge impact on my life. He was always kind and so funny. He was a blessing to have known. You lived a full life Uncle Bob. You are an amazing example of what good people look like.

Janice, I am so very sorry to learn that Yancy has passed. I will never forget him. I have known him since I was 13 years old, he was the best friend of Maxey, the love of my life. I hope they are together now, misbehaving and raising hell. Chrissy Dixon

I met Bobby Yancy in 1972 - the year of the Agnes flood. We spent a lot of that summer at his, Harpy's and Maxie's cottage at Harvey's Lake. We attended many events over the years including concerts, baseball games and my 1977 senior year party, arriving in his 1957 Buick. He was always a positive, fun-loving and unique friend. I have so many wonderful memories - he will be missed and in my heart always.
