Harold F. Bell, 78, of Walden, NY passed away Wednesday evening at his daughter’s house in Wilkes-Barre, PA surrounded by his family. He was born in Newburgh, NY the son of the late George and Helen Alexander Bell. Harold attended Newburgh High School prior to enlisting in the Army. While in the army he was a demolition combat engineer, during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a carpenter prior to his retirement. He loved taking naps, watching TV, and working on his cars. Harold’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with Dog Blue were the loves of his life. Preceding him in death were his sons, James E. Bell and Joshua M. Bell. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Janette E. Dermedy Bell, daughter, Rebecca Dunstan and her husband Calvin, Wilkes-Barre, daughter, Paula Bell, sons, Donovan Bell and Girlfriend, Dora Youmas, Walden, NY, Ronald Bell, grandchildren, Amanda, Krystal, Fitzroy, T.J. , Aiden, Owen, Leandra, Naomi, Zachary, Jamie lynn, Joshua, Donovan, Joseph, Elijah, James, Zachery, great-grandchildren, Novah and Autumn. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, PA.
