Obituary of Lester Leo Lipinski

Lester L. Lipinski, 76, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Friday January 5, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. He was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late Leo and Elizabeth Housenick Lipinski. Lester attended G.A.R. High School, Wilkes-Barre. He was employed as a Bus Driver for Luzerne County Transportation Authority for over 40 years. Lester had a deep love of trains through out his life. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Lipinski, Wilkes-Barre, and Victoria Lipinski and her husband Austin Cote, Ontario, Canada, grandson, Isaac Cote, brother, Rich Lipinski, and his wife Rita, New Smyrna Beach,FL, and friend and care giver June Lipinski. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 13, 2024, from Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday January 12, 2024, at the Funeral Home.
