Margaret M. Fiore formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Daughter of the late Julia and Salvine Fiore. Graduate of G.A.R. High School, Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, College Misericordia and University of Pittsburg Nurse Practitioner. Member of Mercy Hospital Alumni Association, Misericordia Alumnae Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Upon graduation from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, served as Staff Nurse for two years then employed at V.A. Medical Center until retirement. Margaret was a devout Catholic and a compassionate Nurse with a generous heart and a captivating and witty spirit. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvine and Julia, and her brother, Joseph. She is survived by her brother, Horace Charles, eight nieces and nephews, a host of grandnieces and grandnephews, and a great many friends. The Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, January 27 at 1:00 pm at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 9009 Sienna Ranch Rd., Missouri City, TX 77459. Interment Services will be in the Chapel at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1594 S. Main Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706 on Friday, February 2 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to Misericordia University, 301 Lake Street, Dallas, PA 18612 or online at https://www.misericordia.edu/alumni/misericordiafund.
