Kenneth C. Woods, 77, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at home. He was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late Robert woods and Maggie Clara Fine Woods Baroody. Ken graduated from G.A.R. High school and attended Luzerne County Community College. He served in The U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Ken retired from the VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. He worked at many other jobs as well from being a milkman, RCA, and various other jobs around town. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Jim, Jack, Gerald, Bob, sisters, Helen Woods, Carol Simms, and Jean DiMaggio. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda Hadvance Woods, sons, Kenneth Woods, Wilkes-Barre, Shaun Woods, Kingston, Phil Woods, Kingston, Brian Woods, Panama City, FL, grandchildren, Taylor, Kayden, Makalya, Nathan, Bri, Skyler, brother, Phil Woods and his wife Rita, Wilkes-Barre, sister, Peggy Vino, Wilkes-Barre, Betty Rushton, Wilkes-Barre, Mary Cappelinni and her husband Ray, Bethlehem along with many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 3, 2024, from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave. Wilkes-Barre, PA Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral Home.
