I've known Tom since I was 12 and went to his garage to admire his 55 Chevy. He was a good friend of my brother in law, Ray Harris. Ray introduced me to Tom and I was awed by his 55. I became his dentist a long time ago and always looked forward to seeing him and talking cars! Fez, as he was known back then(why that nickname I never knew) had the best running and looking 55 Chevy in town. I am truly saddened by his passing . We never got to go for a ride in my 55 that I now own. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Tom was a real straight shooter. I sure he is running in heaven right now. Most likely in the turning lane of a highway without a care in the world. He will always be a legend and I will miss him. Great guy, great family!!

Dear Rosalie and family,
We always enjoyed praying and visiting with Tom at Gate of Heaven church. We cheered him on at many of the run for diamonds Thanksgiving day races in Berwick. Sometimes we ran with him or more likely behind him. It was always a joy to be with him. God bless you all.

I am David Berezich, the nephew of Uncle Tommy; he is also my God father. From a young age, I have memories of Uncle Tommy fulfilling his duties of God father. He was my sponsor for the catholic sacrament of Confirmation. He placed his hand on my shoulder as I anxiously experienced the reception of the sacrament.
Uncle Tommy and I shared an affinity for classical music. He was always supportive and inquisitive of my musical endeavors. My favorite memory with Uncle Tommy was when my Aunt Marion, he and I went to the Met to see an opera. It was my first opera, L’elisir D’amore (The Elixir of Love), a comic opera by Donizetti. There were no supertitles and I could not follow the story well, but just to be at the Met, surrounded by its opulence and history and flanked by my aunt and uncle, burned an indelible, formative memory for me. I return to it often when I remember my beginnings with classical music as it makes me feel warm and comforted.
I send all my love to Uncle Tommy, Aunt Rosalie, Anna, Chrissy and John.

Tom was one of the greatest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He helped welcome and teach me as a pharmacy technician at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital a little over 5 years ago. Over the years he had been nothing but supportive of me during my time here and transition to pharmacist. He was always one of the first people to greet me coming into work each day. He would go above and beyond at work, helping every individual who crossed his path. He will be greatly missed by his work family and our prayers are with his family during this time.

Tom was the sweetest and most generous caring man I’ve ever met in my life. He was the first to welcome me to the General Hospital pharmacy family and trained me during my first days. I will never forget his kind words and acts of generosity towards me and everyone he encountered. He was a man to admire. May all his family and friends find peace during this difficult time.
