I have many memories of Friday and Saturday nights playing cards at her sister Kathy’s house with Joanne and Art, and Sherry. Later on our friend Jeanne joined the group as well. Kathy had a lot of different games we would play and then there was always snacks or Art and I would put a pizza together. I now miss my dear friends - Kathy, Art, and Joanne are now deceased. My health is not good and our friend Jeanne has had her share of health problems as well. I pray that they are now at peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Joanne’s passing. I remember her from my days of working at the Pittston Library. She would come every week to pick up books she had reserved. She was always smiling and so pleasant to talk with. Sending my condolences to her family.
