Obituary of Bonnie Gail Porter-Femea

Bonnie Gail Porter-Femea Bonnie Gail Porter-Femea, 75, of Edwardsville passed away Saturday November 27, 2021, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in Kingston to the late Harold and Catherine Smith Laity. Bonnie attended Kingston High School. She was a member Bennett Presbyterian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 395 Kingston, the former Nesbitt Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, several local bowling leagues. She held several offices with the American Legion at the local, district, and departmental levels. She also held several offices with the NMH Auxiliary board & the Dorranceton branch. Prior to retirement she was employed by Pierce Bakery, manager of the Uni-Mart, Luzerne, and WalMart. Bonnie was preceded in death by first husband, Albert Porter Jr., son, Herbert Porter, and brother, Harold L. Laity Sr. Surviving are husband, William Femea Sr., son, Albert Porter III, daughter, Cathy Meyers (husband Michael), step-sons, Matthew Femea (wife Moriah) and William Femea Jr. and step-daughter, Cassie Munett (husband Brandon), grandsons Ryan Ellsworth (fiancé Kayla Lengel), Joshua Ellsworth, step-grandsons Tyler Femea, Damien Munett, 2 greatgrandchildren (Adalyn & Karson Ellsworth), brothers, Harold Laity Jr. and Robert Laity, brother-in-law Ronald Porter (wife Cathyrae). A funeral service will be held at Noon on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Bennett Presbyterian Church 501 Bennett St., Luzerne with the Rev. James Quinn officiating. Internment will follow at Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until time of service at the Church.
